Volunteer and Make a Difference 

Volunteers of TopMark Federal Credit Union have the opportunity to strengthen the economic well-being of the communities we serve to benefit everyone, whether low to moderate-income or wealthy, unbanked or underbanked.

Through a strong understanding of financial challenges and opportunities that exist within our community, volunteers offer strategic direction that ensures the credit union will remain independent, viable, and always ready to protect and serve the interests of our members and our community.

Become a Board Member 

TopMark currently has a Board of Directors position open to fill a remaining term of two years. Our board members represent thousands of members to ensure the credit union is providing the products and services to meet our member’s expectations and needs. 

 

Board Members help the credit union develop our long-range strategic plans while overseeing the financial performance of the Credit Union, this includes guiding the organization to fulfill its purpose of people helping people.

Eligibility is Simple!  
Candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years and be a member in good standing. 

Time Commitment will not Interfere with your busy schedule 
Candidate should be prepared to attend monthly board and periodic committee meetings if elected. Board meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month at 12pm and last approximately 1-2 hours.     

Participate in the Credit Union Movement:

Serving as a volunteer on your credit union Board of Directors is a great way to participate in the democracy that makes us different and unique from other financial institutions. A credit union Director has a great deal of responsibility requiring serious candidates with the qualifications to serve effectively. 

If you are a member in good standing with TopMark Federal Credit Union, and meet the minimum qualifications listed below, you may submit a request for nomination. 

Qualifications & Director Responsibilities 

  • Being a member in good standing of the Credit Union
  • Availabiity to attend monthly Board meetintgs, and strategic planning sessions 
  • Willingness to serve as a volunteer without compensation 
  • Enthusiam and interest in the continued successful operation of TFCU and the credit union movement.
